So...Thanksgiving is tomorrow. My aunt and uncle came here from Florida for the week, and it's really nice to see them again. I'm not sure how things will work tomorrow, but it'll probably be nice.

I like Thanksgiving. Maybe it's because the stores don't really care about it, and it's nowhere near as commercialized as other holidays. It makes it so that you can enjoy it without all the stores shoving it down your throat. It also has a nice message. It's always a good thing to be thankful for what you have. :3 Granted, you always should be, not just on one day of the year...but that one day does help you remember.

I finished Final Fantasy IX a few weeks ago. I loved it. It's DEFINITELY my favorite game in the series. The ending was just perfect. Despite the fact that I doubted that he was actually dead, I still cried. And then that last scene...that was a grade-A Crowning Moment of Heartwarming. It was just such a cool game, and I'm glad I got to play it.

I'm currently working on FFVIII. (I'm on the Temple of the Unknown King) It's a pretty good game so far, although it's very different from others in the series in terms of setting and gameplay. That's not always a bad thing, though - the game mechanics were explained in detail, which makes them easy to understand. I, for one, always like gameplay that's a little different. Like I said, I can't say much about the story so far, as I'm still fairly early in the game. But it seems interesting so far.

The characters are OK. Rinoa especially stands out to me - she doesn't seem like your typical Final Fantasy love interest. Squall seems kind of interesting as well, but considering that he doesn't talk much, it's kind of difficult to figure out what he's like. Selphie annoys me, and Zell kind of does too. Quistis seems interesting. And...um, Irving just joined me, so I really don't know too much about what he's like.

Overall, I'm enjoying the game so far. Here's hoping it lives up to my expectations.

Well, I've got quite a while off from school, so that's nice. I'll have to figure out what to do with myself for that time, but that shouldn't be a problem.

I'm sorry that I haven't been putting much of anything up lately. I just haven't been doing anything that's worth posting. I'm actually working on a new DeviantID, but I don't know when it'll be done. It's much better than my old one, though.

Well, I hope that all you watchers and anyone who comes across my page will have a good Thanksgiving, too. (If you celebrate it, that is. If not, well, I just hope you're doing well in general. )
