Pastel practice - tropical fish

I own a small set of oil pastels, and I don't use them much. They're fun to work with, but they're not as precise as I like, so if I use them, I can't do the same type of drawings that I would with pencils. That said, though, I'll never get the hang of using them if I don't practice, so I'd like to try and use them sometimes. 

Last night I was in a creative mood, so I broke them out, did an image search for "tropical fish," and picked one. It's far from my best work, but I'm still proud of how it turned out.
