Not sure when that happened, but it can't have been too long. What a nice surprise!
It's not much considering how long I've been on the site (over 10 years now, wow!), but since I've been relatively inactive for most of that time, it makes sense that I wouldn't be drowning in pageviews. Still, it's quite a milestone.
Colored pencils + WIPs
Found out that colored pencils are a heck of a lot less expensive if you know where to look online. I've got a 72-pack of Prismacolors coming in the mail, and it cost less than my 48-pack did in a brick-and-mortar store. :D
Speaking of which, I have a drawing I'm working on, and it should be done within the next week or so. I also have a digital WIP, but I don't know when I'll get around to finishing that.
Changing my username
SapphirexBlue -> Corovera
I already use that name on Tumblr, Wysp, Fanfiction.net, and AO3, and the only reason I hadn't changed it here was because that would require core membership. Decided to go for it anyway.
I know it'll notify all my watchers when I make the change, but I'm making this journal in case anyone forgets.
Almost 10 years
So it just occurred to me that in February of next year, I will have been on this site for ten years. Granted, I've been mostly inactive for about half that time, but still, that's quite a milestone.
Honestly, I just haven't been drawing much lately, and when I have, it's been line drawings in my sketchbook. Maybe I just need to be more open to posting things that aren't full-color drawings? Those always take me forever, so I don't do many of them.
